BoringBrands bags Vdonxt Asia Awards for ‘The Journey’ with OnePlus

Tech-marketing agency BoringBrands was awarded bronze for ‘The Journey’ in the brand-videos category at Vdonxt Asia Awards 2017 in Mumbai. The short ad film, directed by Vinay Jaiswal and featuring Amit Sadh, was launched last Diwali by OnePlus.

Vdonxt Asia is India’s largest convention on the rapidly growing digital video space. This was the first time the event was held, and it aims to recognize the best work, identify and celebrate individuals playing a significant role in pushing the growth of digital video.

OnePlus released this short film in an endeavor to celebrate the festive spirit of Diwali. Shot in the scenic terrains of Ladakh, the film takes viewers through myriad pulls that love exerts on human relationships and gives them a peek into the emotions that run high in an Indian household at the time of festivals. The film also features veteran actress Zarina Wahab, who plays mother to a doting son.

In the same category, the gold was won by Mindshare India for ‘Six Pack Band’, while silver went to Culture Machine for ‘Amitabh Bachchan Unblushed’.
