For far too long, we all have believed, Valentine’s Day is all about celebrating love, only with your better half, and it’s a day where couples cherish and revisit all beautiful memories they have created.
While the narrative could be partially true, we often tend to forget that love, respect and moments can always be found inside our own self. Whenever we take up a choice, which is out of our comfort zone or the ordinary, we are embarking on a path, which is full of challenges and decisions that could change our life’s course.
Celebrating that ‘go-getter’ spirit in today’s startup entrepreneurs, Rentomojo, a subscription rental platform that allows people to rent furniture and home appliances, started an initiative this Valentine’s day with its latest campaign #spreadthelove, to celebrate the spirit and love of entrepreneurship in the startup fraternity.
The campaign was initiated by Geetansh Bamania, CEO & Founder, RentoMojo, on Twitter, where he began a reading chain by nominating fifteen startup founders to read The Biography of Steve Jobs this month and asked them to nominate others to do the same.
Commenting on the campaign, Bamania said, “In the process of constantly evaluating ourselves on the road of entrepreneurship, we as founders forget to celebrate the passion and rigor with which we are building a heritage that will withstand the test of time and destiny. Various versions of our success stories will serve as an inspiration for the next generation of millennials who want to take up entrepreneurship as their professional commitment. This campaign is an ode to all these entrepreneurs who are working round-the-clock to transform the landscape of the startup community by building a long-term business.”
The campaign was well-received by the startup ecosystem, and Twitter was abuzz with tweets from founders who readily #Spreadthelove and nominated other members of the community.
